Born in a family of musicians, Avirbhav grew up in an environment, which was promoted with soulful music. Son of illustrious Tabla Maestro, Late Shri
Pawan Kumar Verma, he learnt the first lesson in the feet of his father. After the untimely demise of Shri Pawan Kumar Verma in January 2000,
Avirbhav continued his lessons of Tabla from his grandfather Guru Pt. Lachman Singh Seen, one of the pillars of Punjab Gharana; a name that is
adored and admired by music lovers and critics.
The untimely departure of the beloved father did create an irreplaceable gap in Avirbhav’s life but because of the deeply embedded inspiration,
Avirbhav always felt the presence of his father guiding him at every step. Avirbhav accompanied his father in Indonesia and entire Europe where he
gained priceless fame and exposure. In the absence of his father, the responsibility fell on the shoulders of his mother, Smt. Gandharv Verma, a trained
vocalist and a Radio-TV artist. Her constant guidance went a long way in strengthening Avirbhav on rearing the dream of his father. Elder brother,
Swarit Verma a talented Tabla Player is now well settled in Melbourne, Australia and is a reservoir of inspiration to his younger brother.
As time progressed, Avirbhav carved a place for himself among lovers and critics of music and on the basis of his performances in Punjab Kala
Bhawan, he was selected to visit U.K. under Shropshire Punjab Cultural Exchange (a project by Heritage, Patiala Shropshire County, England).
Avirbhav’s name was recognised at the Vishnu Digamber Sangeet Sammelan held in Agra where he carved the appreciation of distinguished lovers of
music. Avirbhav has also accompanied reputed vocalist and instrumentalist like Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt(Grammy Award Winner), Lt Pandit Mehmood Dholpuri(Harmonium exponent), Pandit Ajay Pohankar(Vocalist), Pandit Vidhya Dhar vyas, Mrs Aarti Alankalekar, Ustad Salamat Ali
Khan, Pt. Manu Kumar Seen, Sh. Dinesh K Mahavir, Sayeed Khan, Mr B.S Narang and many more popular personalities. In the year 2004,
Avirbhav visited Canada and performed at a concert organised by Ragmala Society in Calgary and Adminton, Beinf, Kananaskis and Prince George
B.C.

After years of priceless training under his grandfather Ustad & Sangeetacharya Lachman Singh Seen, Ustad of Punjab Gharana, Avirbhav and Swarit
have gained noticeable command on Peshkar, Keyda, Pranas, Charkadar Tukras, Gats and Laggis, Chakradar Tahais and have accomplished perfect
balance of Dayan and Bayan. Avirbhav’s Guru and music lovers feel that he will shine as a jewel in the World of Music.
Recognising the virtuosity and depth of his art, Govt. of Punjab through the Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Avirbhav was awarded a
Certiifcate of Merit by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Amarinder Singh at Kapurthala. Avirbhav has won innumerable prestigious prizes at the Punjab
University Youth Festival. He was adjudged as the “Best” in percussion category at Zonal and Inter- Zonal festival held at Chandigarh and Mukerian in
2004 and 2005 respectively. He got the first prize in percussion category at Zonal and Inter Festival held at Chandigarh and Ludhiana in 2005. He has
been a regular performer at Hariballabh Sangeet Sammelan at Jalandhar and his performances have been highly appreciated by all.
Performances, Accompaniments and Jugalbandhi Avirbhav accompanied Pt. Vidya Dhar Vyas Ji (vocalist) who gave his blessings to him and was very
happy with the performance. Avirbhav has performed with the French Band group “ERIK TRUFFAS” where his Tarang Solo was highly appreciated and
his jugalbandhi with the drums was given a standing applause. Avirbhav also got a chance to accompany the renowned artist, Mehmood Dholpuri Ji
and his son Fakhru Deen in a jugalbandhi of Harmonium and Sarangi.

Avirbhav performed in Jalandhar at the Hariballabh Basant Maha Utsva in which he performed his solo Tabla Tarang and mesmerized the audience.
Recently, Avirbhav performed in Chandigarh with Pt. Manu Kumar Seen (a well known international and national Sitarist) at Bhaskar Rao Sangeet
Sammelan. Avirbhav performed with two French Artists, Regis Gizavo and David Mirandon in Chandigarh and Delhi. People were thrilled by the
performance and it was a mind-blowing concert. Avirbhav has been given, one of the most prestigious awards known as the Tal Mani Award in Mumbai
for his selection in the concert for “Kal Ke Kalakaar”. Avirbhav also performed at Shri Satguru Partap Singh Ji Sangeet Sammelan at Chandigarh with
Baljeet Singh and performed a marvellous jugalbandhi in a new technique on Tabla, which left the audience stunned, and asking for more. Avirbhav
has been performing with number of French bands, he performed with a French group here in India through the alliance francaise, which was
performed at 17 plaza, Chandigarh, and it was excellent performance. Avirbhav was selected to go to Korea, and represent India in Tabla,(Individual
Tabla) in The III Delphic Games 2010 Jeju. 9-15 September 2009. Jeju, republic of Korea. Avirbhav visited England (North Somerset), he taught their in
schools and colleges, regarding music. And his teaching skills were very much appreciated by the schools and colleges principals. He was given an
appreciation letter by the education department of England. Avirbhav recently performed in Calcutta (kolkatta) Pracheen kala Kendra, in the award
ceremony. His performance was highly appreciated by the audience, and the Pracheen kala kendras registrar, Mrs. Shobha Koser ji. 26th
December-2010
Avirbhav is recently selected as a model for the carolyns modeling agency, from Canada, he is further continuing with it.
He visited Aukland, Newzealand for advance studies in music (contemporary western music and sound engineering).
Avirbhav also recently visited Lahore, Pakistan to perform and accompany in sangeet sammellan.
